The behavioral health treatment workgroup identifies any gaps in substance abuse and mental health services needed for recovery and advocates for those needs to be filled within the community. Accessing appropriate health care is a key factor in recovery because recovery may not happen without the supports of therapy, medications, self-care management and effective crisis management.  Providing the right level of care at the right time is essential for continued client recovery and cost containment.
